HyLight provides autonomous airships designed for long-range monitoring, specializing in detecting methane leaks on pipelines and identifying defects on power lines. The HyLighter, an innovative blend of drone and airship technology, offers easy control and transportability akin to drones, while maintaining the energy efficiency of airships. It can fly for up to 10 hours at a speed of 22 mph, covering a range of 220 miles, ideal for detailed data collection. HyLight addresses the challenge faced by energy infrastructure operators in conducting large-scale, precise inspections, offering a solution that detects infrastructure issues without emitting greenhouse gases. The company has developed five different flying aircraft and has signed five pilot programs with major energy infrastructure operators, along with letters of intent valued at over $3.5 million.
